Thanksgiving.........

Well yesterday was Thanksgiving another American Holiday much like Christmas at home only without the pressies, instead of making the big traditional turkey dinner we decided to go to the DEFAC (Soldiers Dinning Facility) where the officers and senior ranking soldiers serve the dinner (Thankfully they dont cook it!!) but it is part of the army tradition that they dress in thier dress blues (the uniform Carl wore at our wedding)and serve the dinner, and what a dinner it is..........for a whooping $25 we ate turkey ham prime rib candied sweet potatoes corn bread shrimp pecan pie pumpkin pie, the list is endless of the food that was available plus you can eat as much as you like..... anyway it was a great dinner
so after eating our fill we went for a fmaily trip to Rothenburg a really old walled german city, it was a beautiful day, Jake taught Teagan how to throw snow at Mum which she thought was really funny, Teagan had trouble moving in her snow suit so everytime she bent over she just fell down, which we thought was really funny, we also went to the Christmas stores and the crimal museum which should be called the torture museum cause it was all stuff they used for toture in days gone by,we were all very thankful that we didnt live in the days of torture!!!!!!!!!!!! all in all it was a great day of family togetherness, I am very Thankful for my Family, both near and far.
