We flew out of Munich airport on the 23rd Dec into Belfast International, to be greated with big hugs and tears from Granny and Granda, big sis Jo and niece Kira, wee Bro George and wee'er sissin in law Barbara, and the first sight of our new nephew baby George(it was good to be home!!!!) the next morning 24th dec Jake and Jessica flew to Scotland to spend Christmas with their family over there,(not so good) we then went last minute Christmas shopping in Belfast, then it was home to get ready for the big day...Christmas....Kira(8) got everything set up for the man in red, the cookies were out the milk was placed the apple for rudolf was cut(he was very happy to get something other than carrots!!)also a bowl of water for the thirsty steed!! and then to top it off Kira mixed oatmeal with glitter and sprinkled it down the garden path to attract the reindeers to the house(things have gotten way more complicated from when I did this stuff) anyway it glissened beautifully and it had the desired effect as santa came and left lots of gifts.
For Teagan it was a 2ft purple Barney that stole the show, and for Kira it was her Ipod and the swimming boy doll with all it boy bits intact!.... what happened to dolls that were sexed by the colour of their clothes ? blue or pink? anyway with the early morning chocolate fest complete it was off to church for us......good excuse to get out of cooking...hehe.....only joking!!
